Do Tooth Fairies Carry Dog Kibble?

It occurs to me that Epic is smack in the middle of teething. I had this revelation yesterday. He has lost three teeth since then, bringing us to a total of four massive puppy teeth. Four! In two days!
.
.
I told Epic he better slow down on the teething, or he may not be able to gum down his kibble tonight!
.
Epic takes a moment to consider this. He feels it's a very serious problem.
.
And begins the search for his lost teefers:
*Hello teefers? Iz HUNGRY!!!!*
.
*Nope, no teefers here either!*
.
*Maybe I left them in Bailey... I better catch up.*
.
.
Alas, Epic has not found any teeth to fill his poor holey head.
.
He has been able to find all of the right buttons to push on his mom though. Poor little bored Epic has been a terror lately! He doesn't feel like chewing, so he's taken to plucking the rug instead. I find this irritating. If he's not plucking the rug he's jumping at the table. This is also irritating. I really can't wait until he's prepared to sit down with a rawhide again for a good long chew!

After my photo success earlier this week I thought I'd set Epic up and try again. He was less than cooperative this time.
.
*Ooooh! Look! Table!*
.
*Mmmm... tablecloth is my favorite. What? You sayin' something Mom?*
.
*Oh, you want to take a picture. Okay. Do I have anything in my teefs?*

Portrait of a Puppy

Epic is 5 months old today!!!
.
It's hard to believe he isn't older actually. I can't imagine life without him now. In honor of his 5 month milestone I took the not-so-little guy out for some big boy pictures. The results were fantastic!
.
*You said 'down', right mom? Is this 'down'? This is 'down', right? Right mom?*
.
*Why'd you put the cookie up there mom? Mom? Mom! I want the cookie Mom!*
.
Happy 5 months Epic!

Safe to say

... that this guy's last minute on Earth was probably terrifying and painful.
Say it with me now... EWWWWW!
.
Think that's bad? He's currently sitting right outside the door on the patio. You've noticed the trail of guts behind him, right? Everytime I walk out the door I have to look at his fuzzy green corpse and inside-y parts lest I step on them. I'd feel better if Epic had just ate the damn thing (okay, no I wouldn't... a whole new level of EW), but just killing it for sport and leaving it lay? More homicidal than hunter/gatherer.

And on the Seventh Day...

Little Mr. Epic had his rabies shot yesterday. He took it like a trooper, but now I'm seeing a lot of this around here:

The vet told me he might be pretty sleepy for a day or two.

A comment to which I replied, "That would be nice".

And so it was.

I don't know why I don't update the blog more often. Really I don't. It's not like I'm frantically busy every single moment of the day, nor do I 'forget' about it. For some reason, I just don't. I think of good post ideas and everything! But do I write them up when I think of them? Nooooo. Do I remember them when I do get to blogging? Noooo.
.
In this way, the JACKED blog is much like my thesis. Everyday I wake up with good intentions... 10 pages! 20 pages! Today I shall write! Alas, I just don't follow through. The good news for you is that I do ENJOY the blogging process, so you blog readers have at least a glimmer of hope that I will come back and write something. My thesis? HA. He's all alone, and he's scared.
.
What's new? Abso-friggen-lutely nothing.
.
Except these RMB's.

I think they allowed me about 2 hours of peace. That was new.

And Epic found a pal willing to lay with him as well. That was also new.

Then they started to cause fights. And that gets old.
*Play with me. I'm not asking.*
.
Lucky for Epic, he's far more entertaining than my thesis.
